Studio-crafted 60s neck piece

A craaaaazy Swedish neck piece from c.1960s, sourced in London a few weeks ago. Made in solid silver, every link carries an engraved detail that gives it depth, both in the silver finish and in the actual feel. The solid links lie very comfortably flat on the chest and run all around the neck, closing with a beautifully seamless hook clasp.

It has some resemblance to Bent Gabrielsen pieces for Georg Jensen or Alexander Calder’s neck pieces from 1941. This one is studio crafted and probably one of a kind, it has a generous weight of 62.62 grams and measures 40.5 cm in length. It carries all purity marks, 835.
