Founded in 2024 by Sonny Rodriguez, MANO collects and curates vintage silver jewellery. Each piece is thoughtfully sourced and handpicked from around the globe, with every treasure carefully weighed, measured, stamped and stone identified.
Originally from the Canary Islands, Sonny’s love for silver began at a young age, sparked by a fascination with timeless designs and intricate craftsmanship. What started as a passion for collecting silver jewellery grew larger.
With a rich background in vintage, styling, and photography— and a desire to create something of her own — Sonny decided to open her private collection to the world. From there, MANO was born: a project rooted in sharing these treasures with others.
Now based in Amsterdam, Sonny’s journey continues to evolve. She offers one-on-one studio appointments for a closer look at her collection, hosts monthly events in Amsterdam and other cities.
Through MANO, Sonny wants to highlight the power of jewellery as a form of self-expression, inspire a renewed appreciation for the craftsmanship and details of vintage designs while encouraging more thoughtful consumption. Even the simplest outfit can feel special with the right piece of jewellery.
things I get asked all the time

is your whole collection online?
Not at all. I only upload exclusive pieces to my website, but you can explore over 200 treasures at my Amsterdam studio or find me at events in other cities. See something you love on Instagram? I now offer worldwide shipping—just send me a DM!
how did you start doing this?
I’ve been collecting jewellery for as long as I can remember. I always gifted myself a vintage silver piece for my birthday, and every time I traveled, I went hunting for new treasures. Additionally, I’ve worked in vintage since I was 18, in Brighton, London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. None of the stores I worked for ever sold vintage jewellery, which I found quite bizarre, considering it was highly sought after. Selling my collection never crossed my mind—not even once.
It was only when my grandma passed away in 2014 that my dad and I were tasked with valuing her jewellery collection with the help of a specialist. We went through every piece—weighing them, identifying the stones, and recording everything in a document. The collection was then split among the whole family based on value. It took us ages, but we loved it. It felt like we were uncovering treasures.
Slowly, things started to come together. I began receiving more and more compliments on my jewellery, friends asked me to source pieces for them, and in 2021, I started buying jewellery to sell through Vinted (though, truth be told, none of it never even made it online).
In 2024, I finally felt ready to start selling my collection. A series of events aligned, making it possible for me to start my own business, and without much hesitation, I built my brand.
On April 25, 2024, I launched MANO.
don't you find it hard to let go of jewellery?
No, not really. From the moment I decided to start selling, something shifted. I have my own personal collection that I deeply treasure—much of it is my mom's silver collection from her youth. Nowadays, I wear the same pieces every day, like a uniform. Surprisingly, I’ve shed the jewellery greed.
Of course, there are still many pieces I find hard to let go of, but it really helps when I sell them through a private appointment. It gives me the chance to connect with the person.
where do you find your jewellery?
haha, I get this asked at least once a day. It's like asking a cook for their recipes :)
how long have you been collecting for?
over 10 years !!!
is it all sterling silver? but everything?
