Peeling ring

This solid silver ring is made of two layers that sit over each other and curve in a wave, so the edges look as though they are peeling apart. Seen from the side, the layers twist and overlap, and the surface carries fine marks from wear. It has a very generous weight and sits on the bigger side. A sculptural modernist piece with a very interesting design.
