Art Nouveau vanity mirror

A true vanity relic — this mirror-shaped compact combines multiple functions into one graceful object: a silver hand mirror on one side, a hinged compartment on the back with puff for rouge or powder, and a discreet built-in lipstick holder at the base.

German-made, as indicated by the crescent moon and crown hallmark, and likely retailed in Sweden based on the 3-crown & hexagon S control mark. Still containing the original owner's lipstick, which could be replaced if desired.
