French 1950s glasses

I had to take these!!! not silver but..... vintage foldable hand-held reading glasses from France, dating to the 1950s–60s. Designed in a cat-eye shape, made from acetate, with a clever hinged construction that folds flat. Originally intended as practical reading glasses, they carry a strong sculptural presence that feels unmistakably mid-century. Fitted with corrective lenses. In very good vintage condition, with light signs of wear consistent with age. No original case.
