Wing earpiece

This sculptural silver piece is shaped like a sweeping wing made up of elongated, feather-like blades that fan out and curve upward. Originally a 1980s Taxco brooch, I have transformed it into an ear piece, fitted with a stud and a cuff closure at the top so it rests securely on the earlobe. It carries a noticeable weight, so this is best saved for a special occasion such as a wedding, event, performance etc etc etc, rather than everyday wear.
