Charming and chic, these vintage clip-on earrings are shaped like blooming roses with finely crafted leaves. The detailing is exquisite, showcasing skilled metalwork that gives the petals and leaves depth and texture.
Although there are no stamps with their sculptural floral design and oxidized silver finish, are strongly evocative of mid-20th century Mexican silver jewellery, likely dating from the 1940s to 1950s. During this period, Taxco artisans embraced nature-inspired motifs, especially flowers, and used hand-wrought techniques in sterling silver.
They’re lightweight and comfortable to wear, with sturdy clip backs that feel secure on the ear. A rare and beautifully made pair—elegant with a hint of sweetness, perfect for dressing up or adding a touch of vintage charm to a casual look.
