This silver brooch is shaped as a hand engraved flower, formed from thin, gently curved petals that give it real depth and dimension while keeping the weight light. It is stamped KH 835, a hallmark belonging to Karl Hohmann, who produced brooches from around 1920 to 1940, and the piece shows some signs of wear in keeping with its age. Sourced in the Netherlands, it fastens with a standard pin closure, though as shown here, it also works beautifully threaded through a hair tie, turning it into a chic hair accessory.
