This one-of-a-kind piece features a large, iridescent Osmena pearl set in an ornate silver frame. The organic setting wraps around the shell with sculptural curves and intricate detailing, giving it a slightly surreal, almost marine-inspired character. The pendant also functions as a brooch and is backed with a classic pin mechanism.
The reverse shows four faded hallmarks stamped into the silver, now mostly illegible, pointing to age and possibly custom origin. The Osmena pearl, made from the inner shell of a nautilus rather than a true pearl, displays a luminous mix of grey-blue and violet tones. The nautilus is now a protected species, making pieces like this increasingly rare.
The pendant comes with a vintage silver bead chain and spring ring clasp, likely original to the piece.
