Sterling buckle bracelet

Buckle-form bracelet in solid silver, made with beautifully sculpted curb links and an intricate double-prong clasp. It echoes the shape of the iconic belt-buckle jewellery that later became a signature for brands like Hermès, but this piece predates that trend.

Likely crafted in the late 1940s to early 1950s, when post-war jewellery explored utilitarian motifs & elevated precision. The hinge clasp features double safety closures (an internal latch and safety chain). Inside are at least four stamps, suggesting British origin and high silver purity.
