Aztec Warrior Bookmark

This Taxco sterling silver bookmark is shaped as the profile of an Aztec warrior, with a feathered headdress and a beaded headband, and fine engraved lines on the face, neck and plumes. The body is a flat slotted clip that slides over the page. I love the face and the strength it holds, and I love how the headdress sticks out from the book. A rare find and a great gift for a committed reader, or for yourself if you are one. A hard one to let go of.
