This antique silver envelope pendant was made by Albert Ernest Jenkins, a goldsmith from Birmingham, and dates to 1914 according to the stamp. The flap opens onto a hollow compartment and stays closed when shut. The whole envelope is beautifully engraved with a leafy pattern and zigzag borders, I love the details. I lightly polished it because I did not want it to be too shiny. It comes with no chain and can be hung on a chain of your choice. Email me if you want help picking one. A rare find and an antique gem.
